From March through June 2026, Roadrunner Food Bank sustained and expanded its reach across New Mexico through a combination of direct food distribution, new institutional partnerships, and civic engagement. March brought the launch of a campus pantry partnership with Doña Ana Community College and a federal advocacy trip to Washington, D.C. April saw at least five drive-thru Produce POP-UP events spanning Albuquerque, Alamogordo, and Roswell, alongside community recognition from the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. May's Stamp Out Hunger drive collected 130,000 pounds of food in Albuquerque alone, while the Coalition to End Hunger elevated food insecurity as a 2026 primary election issue. June marked the launch of the Summer Feeding Program serving children ages 1–18 at three sites, with pop-up distributions extending to Navajo Technical University and multiple southern New Mexico communities.
