Organization Details
Mission Statement
Through climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, farmers, and communities, we build localized regenerative food webs that protect smallholder farms and the wild lands we all share.
Financial Information (2024)
Recent Progress (2026)
Farm to Crag demonstrated significant momentum in early 2026, raising over $32,000 through their Soil & Sustenance Fund to support smallholder farms across California and Montana while providing 75 CSA scholarships to expand access to regeneratively grown food. The organization successfully hosted multiple community gatherings including the Bishop Farm to Crag Gathering and Bishop Farm to Table dinner, while raising $11,000 toward critical water infrastructure at Blue Heron Farm. Their signature Yosemite Gathering at Raw Roots Farm brought together climbers, farmers, and outdoor enthusiasts for three days of workshops and community building, featuring notable speakers including Chef Matt Dillon and Patagonia climbing ambassadors. However, data gaps in January and May limit visibility into the full scope of their winter and late spring activities.
