THE GIVE AN HOUR NONPROFIT CORPORATION'S (GIVE AN HOUR) MISSION IS TO DEVELOP NATIONAL NETWORKS OF VOLUNTEER PROFESSIONALS CAPABLE OF RESPONDING TO BOTH ACUTE AND CHRONIC CONDITIONS THAT ARISE WITHIN OUR SOCIETY. BY HARNESSING THE GENEROSITY, COMPASSION AND EXPERTISE OF THESE SKILLED VOLUNTEERS, WE ARE ABLE TO INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD THAT THOSE IN NEED RECEIVE THE SUPPORT AND CARE THEY DESERVE.

From March through June 2026, Give an Hour demonstrated both the depth of unmet need and the breadth of its response. With more than 100 individuals waiting to be matched with volunteer mental health professionals through its provider network, the organization simultaneously scaled its clinical training infrastructure — delivering the Moral Injury & Moral Repair Series, multiple modules of the Beyond the Diagnosis rare disease CE series, and a specialized Interpersonal Theory of Suicide training capped at 50 seats. A significant programmatic expansion came in May and June with the launch of two financial fraud initiatives — the "After the Scam" public webinar series and the "Empower the Frontline" training program for financial institutions — alongside the Fraud | Scam Trauma Community of Practice for clinicians. By June, the Peer Support Program had received 616 inquiries from all 50 states in the past year, and a new AI-powered collaboration with RangersAI (ScamRanger) signaled the organization's growing ambition to scale trauma-informed fraud support nationwide.
