THE COOPERATIVE FOR ASSISTANCE AND RELIEF EVERYWHERE, INC. AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES (CARE OR THE ORGANIZATION) WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1945 AND IS AN INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION DELIVERING EMERGENCY RELIEF AND LONG-TERM INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. CARE'S MISSION IS TO WORK AROUND THE GLOBE TO SAVE LIVES, DEFEAT POVERTY AND ACHIEVE SOCIAL JUSTICE. CARE SEEKS A WORLD OF HOPE, INCLUSION, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE, WHERE POVERTY HAS BEEN OVERCOME AND ALL PEOPLE LIVE WITH DIGNITY AND SECURITY. CARE OPERATES PROGRAMS IN MORE THAN 46 COUNTRIES THROUGHOUT AFRICA, ASIA, EUROPE, AND THE AMERICAS.

CARE's spring 2026 period was defined by the 80th anniversary celebration of its iconic CARE PACKAGE®, culminating in major community events that assembled 52,000 emergency kits for families in crisis. The organization simultaneously scaled its humanitarian response to multiple crises, supporting over 1.2 million displaced people in Lebanon during escalating conflict and nearly 4 million people in Bangladesh through expanded health programs. A landmark achievement was the launch of the Rise platform with an ambitious $1 billion goal to capitalize women entrepreneurs globally, building on CARE's network of over 30 million savings group members across 67 countries. The period also saw significant emergency responses to natural disasters including Bangladesh floods, a Philippines earthquake, and continued Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts in the Caribbean.

- 🚨CARE activated emergency responses to twin earthquakes in Venezuela and a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in the southern Philippines, with more than 3,000 aftershocks recorded since June 8.
