Transgender Law Center TLC changes law, policy and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression.

From March through June 2026, Transgender Law Center operated at historic scale amid an intensifying legal and political landscape. The period opened with a record number of community members seeking legal support and TLC's spring crowdfunding campaign β backed by a $50,000 match from author Lisa Gardner β before yielding two landmark court victories in April: the Montana Supreme Court affirmed constitutional protections for trans and nonbinary people, and a federal court struck down an unlawful HHS directive threatening hospital funding in Oregon v. Kennedy. May brought TLC's most ambitious convening yet β Building Trans Power drew 547 registered attendees, 61% trans-identified and majority people of color, making it the largest trans convening on record. Pride Month in June saw TLC launch the Fight to Play, Play to Win sports zine, advance disability justice education, and receive philanthropic support from Ariana Grande's Brighter Days Ahead Foundation and Charli XCX's tour proceeds.

- π Trans teen AB Hernandez won both the girls' high jump and triple jump at California's State Track & Field Championships, celebrated by TLC as a movement victory.
- πTLC's Disability Project published Part 2 of its foundational disability justice education series covering anti-eugenics, anti-ableism, and the Disability Carceral State.
- π€Charli XCX announced a portion of ticket sales from her 'Music, Fashion, Film' tour would be donated to Transgender Law Center to fund trans power-building.
